Colin Freeling

I grew up almost next to the bobsleigh track as a little boy when my dad started in the National Federation, that's how I got to know my passion for the Skeleton sport.

At the age of 17 I had a taste of sliding and at the age of 18 I started competing. 3 years later I am starting my World Cup debut.

Of course this didn't just happen by itself and certainly not because I'm "son of".

In the winter time I travel a lot to the colder places, that's where I train on my sliding skills and the pushstart on the slippery ice.

We don't sit still in the summer either: strength and sprint training is the how I fill up my week next to my job as a cherry-picker mechanic.

About 18 hours a week I can be found in the power room or at the track and field to become stronger during these summer months and of course faster in the course of the next winter season!

Do you want to know more or just stay informed about how I am doing in the winter season?
